Throwing Knives is all that you need
Right now there are some powerful Strand Builds for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks in Destiny 2 Lightfall. However, the other subclasses, like Solar, also received some love from Bungie, opening the doors for new builds. This is the case of this Solar Hunter Build that’s capable of destroying champions in no time.
This Hunter build is all about Throwing Knives. You not only get them quickly but they also get incredible buff damage, capable of killing bosses with just a few hits. Killing some opponents with precision makes the Athrys’s Embrace exotic arms buff Throwing Knives, on top of them freezing your target with Stasis before the hit, gives an even more damage bonus.

Abilities
Super Ability – Blade Barrage
Class Ability – Gambler’s Dodge
Melee Ability – Weighted Throwing Knife
Grenade Ability – Healing Grenade
Aspects
Knock ‘Em Down – Your Solar Supers are enhanced. Deadshot Golden Gun has damage resistance, Marksman Golden Gun has increased duration, and Blade Barrage launches more projectiles. While radiant, final blows with your equipped Throwing Knife fully refund your melee energy.
On Your Mark – Precision final blows grant you and nearby allies increased weapon handling and reload speed for a short duration. Stacks 3 times. Activating your class ability immediately grants maximum stacks of On Your Mark.
Fragments
Ember of Mercy – When you revive an ally, you and other nearby allies gain restoration. Picking up a Firesprite grants restoration.
Ember of Torches – Powered melee attacks against combatants make you and nearby allies radiant.
Ember of Searing – Defeating scorched targets grants melee energy and creates a Firesprite
Ember of Singeing – Your class ability recharges faster when you scorch targets.
Ember of Empyrean – Solar weapon or ability final blows extend the duration of restoration and radiant effects applied to you.
Recommended Gear – Athrys’s Embrace
This Solar Hunter Build is all about Throwing Knives so the Athrys’s Embrace is essential. His exotic perk gives a second bounce to Weighted Knife. Doing precision hits rapidly gives bonus damage of 200% to your Weighted Knife, and also stuns Unstoppable Champions. This buff is only used in one Knife hit but as you can see is easy to get and can depending on how many precision hits you get can long up to 30 seconds.
To get even more damage from the Weighted Throwing Knife first freeze your target with Stasis. Any weapon that can accomplish that will work for this Destiny 2 Hunter Build. One great option is the Conditional Finality, an exotic shotgun.
