Take advantage of Strand and Swarmers to create a Threadling army
The new Strand subclass opens new opportunities for powerful Warlock builds in Destiny 2 Lightfall. For this one, you only need one piece of exotic armor, the new Swarmers. In another guide, we also have an alternative Warlock Strand build with Osteo Striga.
With this Strand build for Warlock you will constantly generate Threadlings by consuming your grenade and spawning your Rift. Threadlings are creatures woven that seek and attack nearby enemies. With the Swarmers, your Threadlings also cause Unravel to their targets which generates even more Threadlings.

Class Ability – Healing Rift

Weaver’s Call – Cast your Rift to weave three Threadlings and deploy any Threadlings you have perched.
Mindspun Invocation – This gives enhanced functionality to your Threadling Grenade, when you consume her generates five perched threadlings.
Fragments
Thread of Warding – Picking up an Orb of Power grants Woven Mail
Thread of Rebirth – Strand weapon final blows have a chance to create a Threadling.
Thread of Generation – Generates grenade energy when dealing damage.
Thread of Evolution – Threadlings travel farther and deal additional damage.
Recommended Gear
Swarmers are the new exotic legs, they are essential for this Strand Warlock build in Destiny 2. With them equipped, when you destroy a Strand Tangle it will generate Threadlings. The Threadlings also inflict Unravel on their targets. Oponnentes affected by Unravel launch Threadlings when suffering damage, and when they die generate a Tangle.
The best choice for a Strand weapon is the new auto rifle Perpetualis. And if it has the Demolitionist perk, even better, this one recharges grenade energy with kills, and using the grenade reloads this weapon. In addition, with the Untangler perk equipped in Artifact, when you destroy a Tangle with a Strand weapon causes an explosion that suspends targets nearby.
