What is Arc 3.0 in Destiny 2

With the arrival of Arc 3.0 to Destiny 2 in Season of Plunder, a set of new keywords was added:

  • Amplified – The movement speed and weapon handling greatly increase, slide further.
  • Blind – Enemies in PvE cannot fire and are disoriented for a few seconds. In PvP, Guardians lose their HUD and get distorted vision.
  • Jolt – Jolted targets release chain lightning to nearby targets when taken damage.
  • Ionic Trace – Arc energy generated with arc kills that travel along the ground seeking you, grant ability energy.

Titan Arc 3.0 Abilities, Aspects & Fragments

The purpose of this Titan build is to recharge extremely fast your arc abilities, for that, you will be constantly creating Ionic Traces. And with the Storm Grenade and Touch of Thunder Aspect working together you will constantly generate them.

Abilities

Super Thundercrash is definitely one of the best Titan arc Supers for dealing damage, so use it.

Class Ability – If you like the walls for protection keep with the Towering Barricade. But the Thruster brings more mobility to the Titan build, this new ability allows it to dodge to the side quickly. It can be beneficial for close distance on enemies or the other hand increases the distance from them in a tight situation.

Movement AbilityStrafe Lift is a jump with good speed and you can do a second jump in the air with strong directional control.

Melee Ability – For melee, the Thunderclap deals a lot of area damage but needs to be charged so, it can take some time to get used. The Seismic Strike deals area damage and blinds targets.

Grenade AbilityStorm Grenade is a must-have for this Titan Arc 3.0 build. It is very powerful in dealing area damage over time, excellent to clear groups of opponents. Combined with the Touch of Thunder will jolt enemies and create Ionic Traces.

Aspects

Knockout – Melee range and damage increase for a short period of time after critically wounding a target or breaking their shield. Also, killing targets with melee ability get you amplified and start health regeneration.

Touch of Thunder – This Aspect enhances the functionality of Flashbang, Pulse, Lightning, and for the ones, you will use in this Titan build, Storm Grenades. These create a roaming thundercloud that tracks nearby targets and fires lightning bolts at foes beneath it.

Recommended Exotics

The Heart Of Inmost Light Exotic introduced in Destiny 2 Forsaken is a key piece for this Arc 3.0 build. When a grenade, melee or barricade is used increases the damage and regeneration rate of the other two. With this exotic, you get your abilities even faster.

As alternatives, the Cuirass of the Falling Star increases de damage of your super, Thundercrash. The An Insurmountable Skullfort exotic helmet grant health and melee energy with arc melee kills.

Arc Weapons is your meta for this season, the most famous Destiny 2 machine gun, Thunderlord, is a good choice, now with the catalyst is even better.

The Exotic Fusion Rifle Delicate Tomb, was added in Destiny 2 this Season as a reward in Season Pass. Was Arc energy and the final blows have a chance to generate Ionic Traces.

Below we leave some more great suggestions:

  • Insidious Pulse Rifle
  • Duality
