According to Bungie’s initial plans, the quest to earn this exotic sidearm would only become available later. After receiving negative feedback from players, Bungie released an update and now all players can unlock all strand fragments and start the exotic quest.

How to get Final Warning in Destiny 2 Lightfall

First, you need to complete the Destiny 2 Lightfall main story where you unlock the new Strand subclass. The most challenging part of the Final Warning quest is getting the quest itself. As we said before it’s required to purchase all Strand Fragments, and for that, you need a lot of Strand Meditations.

Farming Strand Meditations

The best way to farm Strand Meditations is with the Strand subclass equipped, go to the Vex Incursion Zone, and do the Terminal Overload public event. Don’t forget to take the Terminal Overload keys to open the second chest at the end of the event. If you are in a fireteam, to maximize time take some patrols simultaneously. All activities in the Vex Incursion Zone grant more Strand currency than other places. The Weekly Quest in Neomuna also rewards you with a good amount of Strand Meditations.

The Final Strand quest

After buying all Strand Fragments the Final Strand Quest will become available to purchase at the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes in Neomuna.

1. Visit Nimbus in Striders’ Gate in Neomuna.
